These cabins were built in 1937-38 and were operated by John and Ethel Baago as North Shore Cabin Court.
The 20 cabins were located across from the Fish Hatchery on old Hwy 18 at what is now 908 North Shore Dr.
In 1988 the cabins were moved.

The Blue Horizon Motel was built on the site of the first Surf Ballroom on North Shore Drive. The motel was built in 1952 and continues to welcome visitors today.
